The Banobagi Co., Ltd, established in 2015, is a Korean cosmeceutical brand that built its reputation on twenty years of experience, clinical research, exclusive ingredients, and a responsible approach towards nature. There are over thirty beauty consultants from BANOBAGI Medical Beauty Group accountable for product development to customer aftercare. Their carefully selected and analysed ingredients have all completed skin irritation tests and are therefore suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. The Banobagi Group includes cosmetic production, plastic surgery, dermatology clinic, aesthetic and petite clinic, and hair transplant clinic.
Mr Barn Jaesang and Mr Oh Changhyun, two of their three CEOs, are specialised plastic surgeons at Banobagi Plastic Surgery Clinic. Mr Barn Jaeyong, the third CEO, is the director and dermatologist of BANOBAGI Dermatology Clinic.
Banobagi received awards such as the Thailand Watsons Award (2020, 2021), First Brand Award in China (2020), and Korea Beauty Land Grand Price (2021). Their products acquired emblems from HwaHae, Korea´s top cosmetic information platform, and magazines like Allure, Singles and CLEO.
In 2016, Banobagi released a set of four booster sheet masks (White Jade, Baby Face, Anti-oxidant and Water Glow). The company launched another mask pack two years later: the Vita Genic Jelly Mask series, which includes eleven types of vitamins, Jeju-derived effective and natural ingredients, and quality 100% cotton sheet material for the perfect fit.
The same year they introduced the New Milk Thistle Repair line. This line is ideal for skin recovery, soothing and moisturising as it contains Silybum marianum seed extract, Arctium lappa root extract, Centella Asiatica extract and various seed oils. All ingredients are EWG Green Grade. The line includes a toner, serum, lotion, cream, sheet mask and sunscreen (launched in 2019).
The Rejuvenating Vital line, an innovative premium anti-wrinkle skincare line, launched in 2020. Banobagi cooperated with an Italian lab Kalichem to extract Sodium DNA that effectively improves wrinkles. The Rejuvenating line contains Banobagi´s wrinkle solution Sturgeon PDRN b-PDRN, and patented transferome technology that allows maximal penetration of active ingredients into deeper layers of the skin.
Calming Care line for luminous and dewy skin is suitable for all skin types, including oily. All products contain ten types of hyaluronic acid, rose extract, lotus extract, Centella extract, Allantoin and Ceramide. The Blue Complex is a patented ingredient mix with soothing, anti-inflamatory and anti-oxidant properties. It is a source of six blue hue raw materials: borage, chamomille, cornflower, lavender, hyacinth and clary sage.
